Folder Owner Assaulted!

The other day, as I was coming out of the movies, three punks were harrasing a guy on a folding bike. They got in front of him and started calling him names like clown-man and saying that his bike looked gay. The folder owner just ignored them and tried to move out of the way and that's when they pushed him off his folder and started beating him up. When I saw this I my blood started boiling and i coundn't take it so I ran over and jumped in! The four of us beat the crap out him.

Thanks, Yamcha, as always. Some of us take this forum too seriously.:innocent:

Yeah.

IIRC You posted this rubbish before.

Another brilliant contribution.

pictures or it didn't happen

Why do people on bike forums take themselves so seriously. I always thought the bike crowd to be a fun loving bunch until I started getting into it more. It's seems like the more people learn about cycling in whatever form, the more serious they become about everything.

I can kind of understand it from the Lance wannabes, but we ride clown bikes. How can you be serious about anything when you ride a clown bike? :)

Um — because no one else does? ;)

I am typing this on a laptop my wife brought to me here in the hospital. Just want to let everyone know I am getting better and should be released on Sunday.

Actually, I was doing OK fighting off those three young thugs until a 4th guy joined the fray. It was the wide bicycle seat on the extra long seat post that he was swinging that did most of the damage.

Bottom Line: I did OK for a 65 year old guy.

I was riding by when it happened. The 4th guy, who was in drag, after the fight extracted lipstick from his purse and touched up his lips, afterwards he took the other 3 guys to the movies.

I think it was The Rocky Horror Picture Show. He was dressed like Frankenfurter.

Funny, but my wife actually told me that I'd get beaten up by the other "children" if I rode my folder in public! So far, I have escaped unscathed.....

I want to see pictures of the time you pulled out your glock and scared of that other bunch of punks. You must have a lot of them around your neighborhood.

I heard they were Girl Scouts and were trying to help you across the street when you tried to take their cookies then they started to beat the crap out of you, oh the fourth person was your wife.

mrbrown 06-21-08 10:21 AM

And at that precise moment, I happened to be riding by with my Dahon Curve and I took out my Seatpost pump and started lobbing tear gas canisters from it to break it up.

My Curve also transformed into an Autobot and kicked backsides.

No no, you got the story wrong. You are talking that time when some roadies were having a race or one of those group commutes and were trying to pass me on both sides of the bike lane. They literally encircled me and were giving me their angry looks so I pulled my 9mm Glock out of my waist bag and fired it in the air a few times. They all stopped, some of them fell off their bikes.

I am now chopping off Phyllis's head with a chainsaw!

Felt like the perfect hypothetical addition.

Kudos to those who get it.

You sre the glock you pulled out wasn't your own gun that you were born with?
