Saw a Birdy Today...

Once a week, I take the early train to Lombard from Chicago. I regularly see a bunch of road and mountain bikes on the train, but every once in a while I see a folder. One of the regular commuters (I know his name, but for the life of me I'm drawing a blank right now... I'm horrible with names anyway) has a Dahon, but today he had a Birdy Silver. He got it used recently at Boulevard Cycles for about $1K.

Oh my lord! It's a thing of beauty. Definitely puts my Giant Halfway to shame. Anyone have a spare $1K they want to give to the "Get Sam a New Bike Fund"?

Thank you, kind sir! I shall remember you and all of the other little people that helped me along the way when I am riding high on the wing of my bird(y).
