The 16" have arrived.

They shipped on different days but arrived together today. 2007 Curve SL and Downtube Mini 2008. Wow I am impressed by both.

It was a very light box and shallow.

The Magnesium color is cool

This box wasnt very heavy either.

Together at last

And if they decided to cohabitat could this be their offspring???

Great find! Enjoy it. Last week I hit 2000 mi. on my Curve SL (2K in almost exactly 1 year). I still need to post a review, but overall it has held up really well.

They gave you the wrong pedals !

Congrats, Dyno!!!

Must be fun! We'll look forward to a nice comparison when you have had a chance to ride them a bit. These are THE two 16" wheeled bikes that everyone wants to know about.

I think it is going to be hard to compare them especially with the price difference of a 2008 Curve SL to a 2008 Mini at almost half the cost. Right off the bat the Curve has components like Kinetix, Big Apple, Bontrager, Avid. The Mini is just plain cool and is looking for an upgrade where the Curve is pretty much already upgraded. I have to admit I like the curves of the Curve and that is what is so appealing about it.

I bought the Mini first and then the Curve came up for sale, I wanted to try them both. Just got back after riding the Curve, the bike feels solid but 5 gears and a 13t sprocket too much pedaling. The big Apples make a comfortable ride.

The mini looks like it has a 2009 stem. Are you sure it's a 2008?

So far so good. I love your ex-Downtube Mini. Will test it out a bit more when this darn rains stops. It rains a LOT in the Pacific Northwest.

Mooshed into a blackberry bush on the trails and got a pinched digit from practising set ups and knock downs yesterday.

FYI I ended up with Dyno's Mini after a little shopping trip.
