Strida Mini/Pacific Carryme in the UK?

Does anybody know if and when the Strida Mini or Pacific Carryme's will be available in the UK and at approximately/comparatively what price?

I'm considering both as my next folder and value any opinions on which one you guys would go for - assuming that you were within the size bracket to be able to ride either.

Cheers, Matt

The Pacific Carryme available from Avon Valley cycles behind Bath Rail station. or their website www.foldingbikes.co.uk. They are an excellent dealer.

Avon Valley Cyclery
Rear of Bath Spa Railway Station
Bath
BA1 1SX
Telephone : 01225 442 442
Fax : 01225 446 267

They don't stock the Strida and the Carryme is stocked in the shop but not listed on their website. i find you get the best response by calling them.

Thank you for that. I don't suppose you know the price and available colours off the top of your head? No worries if not as i can always give them a shout.

I guess the Strida Mini would be about the same price or maybe a little cheaper than the Strida 5 then.

I'd say they can order any of the colours.

Thanks very much for the link, it was just as interesting to see pictures of the other bikes as it was the Carryme. Looks a very nice shop.

Cheers, Matt

Yes I'd say its worth the trip as well as a day in Bath itself!

Hows the Curve D3 these days? You got the foldinitis virus to now and want more than one lol?

Ah, my infamous Curve D3! It's just about hanging in there, thanks for asking. I've even worked out how to fold it now - since being politely asked not to store it in the shower at work anymore lol.

I've certainly got the bug now. I reckon the addition of an ultra-small folder and something like a Downtube FS and i shall have a pretty versatile fleet. It's just a question of time and money...

I can't remember the last time i went to Bath so now i have another reason to plan a visit.

Cheers, Matt
