Xootr Swift or non-folding Cannondale Capo?

We've recently had some questions where the poster was undecided between a road bike and a folder, and I happen to enjoy the slugfests where two bikes face off headtube-to-headtube.

Xootr paraphernalia says "Urban Transport" (sorry, loser suburbanites and cow-tippers) -- so this post is impresario to a matchup between two "urban" bikes from two companies both located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, home of the 6% sales tax and state-controlled liquor stores...

In the left corner, wearing silver and blue, the Xootr Swift ...

and in the right corner, wearing red and black, the Cannondale Capo.

    Ding!

    Regards
    T

If you are going fixed gear or single speed, then there is no reason to go for the full-sized bike in my opinion. The Swift will perform just as well -- if not better -- and can handle drop bars. The Swift's weakness is that it lacks the typical gearing choices; specifically standard front/rear derailer gearing.

The Capo so you can race at the T-town velodrome. The Swift if you don't have a bike rack on your car and want to race at T-town.
