Downtube Mini Airline Luggage

My new job requires me to travel constantly for work. I bought a 2009 Downtube Mini and now need to find luggage to take it in.

Given how often I'm on the go, I'd like the bike to fit the suitcase with minimal disassembly. I'd like to fold the bike, perhaps remove the seatpost, and fit it in.

Based on what other threads recommend, the Samsonite F'Lite 31" seems to be a popular choice, but it is slightly oversize.

Does anyone have suggestions for luggage that would work?

Samsonite 29, airline legal.

Looks like this with a Mini:

I saw that, but I would prefer to not have to move the rear wheel forward in the dropouts as Jur had to. If the bike didn't have to come apart at all, it would be the perfect suitcase.

The 29" is a bit of a tight squeeze. I would try the 31", I don't think airlines would blink at it. They have guidelines in place because they have to put the limit somewhere, but a small amount I don't think anyone would hassle over. If you b1tch at the counter, then they might be different. Smile, and you're away!
