I had some nice weather, some spare time and decided to show some of my bikes' current status.
My Downtube Mini, sporting its new handlepost (remember the original broke off after I crashed in some deep gravel). Look, the chainwheel grew its wisdom teeth - now 53!
Seatpost is in unfinished state, made from a Dahon telescoping post (Thanks Thor). The inner is loooooong and extends all the way into the seat tube; this makes for a stiffer seat post and the extension is waaaay below maximum, giving me peace of mind over not stuffing the frame due the over-extended seat post.
I also installed a folding stem, made from an adjustable stem. The original bolt was replaced by a quick-release.
After dismantling and filing away some material, it folds down all the way so the handlebar is against the handlepost.
I rotated the handlepost through 90 deg so now it folds inside! Compact fold!
Compared against my folded Yeah.
