Be careful what you wish for....

Look what the bike fairy brought! I've been wishing for one (along with a Columbia Commuter II) for about a year or so. Now I have 4 vintage folders. I figure about 300 bucks and 300 hours will make this a 3 dollar bike!

What a beauty, will you give it a new live?

Yeah, me too! Looks like it could be a pretty cool bike, though.

Well, so far I've put in the 300 bucks. New rims, spokes, a SA 3 speed hub w/coaster brake. Shifter and cable, front brake, boingy boingy seatpost, chain, handlebars and grips, tires, sandblasting and (soon) paint. Only about 30 hours of labor and I do that at work. (I get paid to sit in a box on a snowcovered hill and answer phones).

Just got 2 more Sears Tote Cycles. Gold three speeds. Pretty good shape too. When it rains, it pours!
