SoCal foldies, transit symposium on Feb 5th!

Metro will be holding a transit symposium on Feb 5th, and Larry Lagarde from https://ridethisbike.com/ will be there to display several models of folding bikes for transit managers to see. If you all can make it to the symposium that day, that would be great! Larry has suggested we do a ride after the symposium, but since it's a weekday (Thursday), I don't know how many of you are free. I am working that day, but will try to take time off to go to the symposium.

Who's free that day? Wanna go? We won't make it an official ride, just a pootle to see the symposium.

That sounds great, thanks for the heads-up! I can't promise anything now but I'll try to make it.

I am interested in attending if it is not late at night (for obvious reasons). Please let me know more details as I would like to post the information on my World Of Folding Bicycles series to attract more people. I have not attended any field trips (especially interesting ones) since I left teaching. So this should be interesting in the very least.

The symposium should be in the day, so definitely check it out if you can!

Any info on specifics (location, time, etc)? I'll be in southern Utah for the month, but I'm looking for a weekend to get into LA anyways (plus, I'm expecting arrival of my new Season tikit on Feb 3rd, so I can see if they could guarantee it to me for this event). Thanks!
