schwinn world?citizen bike?
does anyone have any opinions on this bike, or on a favorite 26" or 24" folder in fairly low price range.
I ride in NYC and have my mom's old English 3 speed and a pieced-together 10 speed, very funky and cheap.
No proper parking makes me+partner want to get folders. Also curious about the Citizen Bike.
Thanks for any feedback

Hi Katemoon,
Welcome to the forums! I have a Citizen folding bike (Tokyo model) in silver. I've had it for about 6 weeks now and it's a very nice bike for the money. Citizen offers two 20" wheeled model and one 16" wheeled model. No 26" or 24" models.
If you are going to choose a Citizen, then your best bet is to go for the Citizen Gotham which is their "top of the line" bike. It has a light alloy frame and better components. The Gotham has 20" wheels and only comes in one color: silver.
I've posted some pictures of my Tokyo here https://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.p...1&postcount=25 and here https://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.p...0&postcount=12
In those same threads you can also read up on my experience and other's experience with Citizen bikes.
I don't know anything about the Schwinn World bike so I can't comment on it but if you have any further questions about Citizen bikes, please feel free to ask. :-)
P.S. I live and bike in NYC too. Hi there!
