Dear Snafu,

It is very good to have you back, and I am sorry to read of your recent trials. I have always said that your posts combine wit and intelligence in good measure and never failed to raise a grin - on my ugly face at least.

I hope you will look in here whenever you have the time and inclination. Ride on good lady and hopefully we'll hear from you again about your jaunts on your hammerhead et al.

Welcome back! Congratulations on making it through what had to be a rough patch for you. I am sure that you're willingness to see something bright in every situation has served you well.

BTW, the pootling thread you started is alive and well. Just goes to show that a great idea assumes a life of it's own.

This forum was getting all sensible without you, with hardly any random whimsy... welcome back!

By the way, I grew up in Hamptonshire, in a tiny village nobody has ever heard of, not even me, near Alton. I went to Peter's Field once or twice, it was ok, but I prefer my fields with more grass and fewer buildings.

Rearguards,

R

Hi! Congrats on shrugging off your trials, and welcome back to the land of small wheels and uhm...fodlers.

Hey, good to see you back on line, sorry to hear of your troubles but glad you've turned the corner. Let me know when you're ready for another raid on Buckingham Palace, although we will need another winger, Nigel having fled undercover to the south coast.
