Ever seen a Budget Bootbike ?

I recently bought a collection of parts alleged to be a folding bike.

Some of the parts didn't fit (and never would) after throwing away the dead wood, I was left with some parts I can use - but not on the Budget Bootbike.

The frameset is blue and orange and initially I intended to move it on, however, the thought of having a reasonable bike that fits in boot of my car has grown more appealing.

Has anyone got any info on the 'Budget Bootbike' ?

Is it worth spending money building this frame into a bicycle ?

It's basically just a frame with no other useful parts.

TIA....

I found this, the first result on Google, and the only one that appears relevant. There's no mention of bikes on http://www.budget.co.uk/, so I suspect it was a failed experiment.

I thought I had asked on here about it before, but I can't find any trace of it.

Apparently it is a failed experiment and the frames were made by Dahon.

It's basically a MTB with hinges, the frame I have has never been built up into a bike.

Whether to build it into a bike is one question, what components would go on it is another
