Alternative seatpost for Mezzo?
I would like to have an off road and fast road set up for my Mezzo bikes. Are there any alternative seatpost to fit a mezzo. I would like a suspension version for off road use and a stiff spd beam,or a carbonfibre version for road.
Surley a carbon fibre one could be bespokely made up to order. Maybe a bit ££££!!!
any links ? ideas ?
The Mezzo seatpost is around 33mm (I check exactely later)
Could I modify a existing seatpost like a thud buster or another seatpost.
One option I am considering is switching seatposts one with a light weight saddle,(which is what I am currently running ),and having another Mezzo seatpost with a sprung saddle on the other .Please dont suggest I buy a Brooks ,I dont like them, and I dont buy leather products.
I have seen an add on pogo stick type adaptor on ebay that fitted on to an existing seatpost, but it looked nasty and possibly unsafe. It only cost about £5 + p and p. Sometime of better quality would do fine. Or from another folding bike with a smaller diametre seatpost shimmed up.

I found a web sit called "POSh bike" that do carbon stuff.
Intergrated seat ans seat post custom made from £440.
If I was a rich man.................... I still would not pay that!
There does appear appear to be carbon race seatpost posts in 500mm which would be possibly ok. But I can complete the links to them to actually find any yet.
The cane crek "Thud buster" is available in 440mm and if I also put a sprung seat on to raise another 40mm or so I should be more or less OK. I would possibly lower the seat a tad anyway if on rougher stuff. The current post is 560mm and I have it near minium insertion.

There is a UK company called VS ? ( apparently on the back of UK cycling mag). They do bespoke TI bits.
I have not been able to google them.
Anyone got a link?

Yes the bike is mainly for road use, but Its fine for park trails and stuff, not heavy off road.
I do take one of them on a BMX track with my son ocassionally ,but I am carefull with it.
Any links to VS? for a TI seatpost anyone?
