What seat / saddle fit on Strida

For those who had changed out their saddles, what did you guys use?

I tried a WTB Pure V from my mtb and that didn't fit.

It does look nice...but that is also expensive.

Is there cheaper alternatives? I have seen someone use Specialized Expedition, and Raleigh...anyone else?

I use a sprung 'flame' saddle but just about any twin railed seat will fit (you may need to prize the rails apart to get the old seat off & likewise to fit your replacement)
Hope this helps!
Safe Strida-ing!

well, the problem I can see is that the arrangement of the seat mounting structure. It requires a certain amount of clearance from the bottom of the rail to the bottom of the nose. Seats that are lower in profile would not fit due to the nose hitting the front part of the mounting structure. That is the reason my WTB saddles doesn't fit.

I am tempted to try the no nose saddles, but I don't know of a local retailer.

Since the oem one is horrible I switched to a specialized expedition plus saddle and the thing was comfy almost like sitting on an air cushion. I tried an elastomer sprung one but it was no comparison to the spring saddle the specialized had and how well it worked for my strida 5.
