Upgrading to a Dahon Mu Uno

Like many, the first folder I bought was a Dahon Boardwalk S1 (new through an LBS for $220). I then bought a D7 off of CL for $100. I live in a flat area (Lubbock, Leveland, and now Dallas... yes, the place is called Level Land ) so I constantly find myself preferring the single speed over the D7.

The Boardwalk has served me well... but I want to upgrade. I've started looking at the Mu Uno and absolutely love the the lines of the Mu series. The deep charcoal gray of the bike is great as well. Having always been a minimalist, the no-wires and coaster-brake are a big plus. I personally wish the MSRP was $100's less, but that just means I'll have to save my money for a little time longer.

Though it's new, has anyone had a chance to ride the Mu around a bit? I have an LBS that is an authorized Dahon dealer, but they never keep any in stock (and they're one of the biggest bike shops in the region). I don't know how the ride or weight would compare to the Boardwalk, so any anecdotal comparisons will have to do for the time being.

My Boardwalk is absolutely great, I wonder how much more emotion I could pour into the Uno.

I get the first ones in next week. its unlikely that you find somebody who has actually ridden one, besides maybe a show sample ..... than again I think the UK friends got a few earlier already.
I also wish it would be 100 bucks cheaper..lol
Its a fun bike, not for everyone, but that just might be a selling point after all .....

Is there any provision on the UNO fork to add a front brake?
