Had several foldies as well. Managed to pick up an El Bolso bag for my Dahon's which will help dragging the things around in Japan here.
Got to see a Swift Xootr (is that right?) and Bike Friday. Both bikes were cool but I still think the cool factor lies with the Dahons although we all know I'm highly disturbed you can't get spare parts for your Dahon's like you ought to be able to.
Picked up some other goodies that barely fit in the suitcase as well, not foldie related. Desperately needed a bleed kit for my Juicy 3 brakes on my 29 'er mountain bike and carried one home.
That and a grocery bag for my foldies and Trek Commuter bike (SU 2.0).
All in all it was a blast just getting to speak bicycle in good English. Bike shop was the BikeFactory in Waikiki. Great place.
I know the owner. Bike Factory has helpful techs that don't think customers are a nuisance, which is how the owner trained them. BTW, the shop is not in Waikiki, it's in a district called Kakaako, the area between Waikiki and the financial district (Bishop St.). www.bikefactoryhawaii.com
