I'm back!!!!!

I've been off the radar for a bit moving from Okinawa Japan to Mainland Japan. Hurt my back a little prior to leaving Oki and while it would heal back up nicely riding my bike would aggravate the injury.

I have my Mu P8 stashed here but I got my workhorse my Speed P8 the other day in an express shipment.

I've been using it for transportation and I did a 20k ride the other day to test my bike and all was well. Pulled a fairly long ride this morning and planning a much longer ride tomorrow.

Taken at Kiko park at Iwakuni Japan. This guy is the famous Mushashi's rival although I can't think of his name right now.

Two Samurai's in this photo. Folding bikes rock even more on mainland Japan than they do on Oki. Found a good LBS as well that the website handles Dahon as well. I haven't been yet but I'm going tomorrow. Hopefully they have Dahon's on site.

John

Welcome back! I'm sorry to read about your back injury. My back is injured too but I found riding my bike and wearing heels helped. (Yeah, I'm just as shocked as you!)

I think riding helped me because it strengthened my core and because I didn't have to sit up straight. Bent slightly to reach the handlebars helped because standing up straight was very painful. Also, the heels helped to put my back in a position that was actually more comfortable than flat footed. Odd, but it works!

I hope your back heals up soon and you get back to riding that pretty folder.
