Quick breakdown on todays Bike Forums small group ride

Met with a couple local guys today that I met from here and we pulled roughly about a 45 km ride. I am ashamed to say that I showed up with a full sized bike but I needed it to keep up as lets just say I have a few years on these guys.

At any rate it was an awesome ride and one section of the ride was noteworthy. We climbed a disgustingly steep and long hill. My GPS dump shows the segment highlighted in green as a 13.4% gradient.

Yes I came up the hill last but I got up it which is good enough for me.

Pic of the bikes. My MASI Speciale is in the middle.

And a pic of the course route and the dirty nasty hill we climbed.

Thanks guys!

That's a Giant "escape" mini-velo. It's a friend's, and he's put a compact 50/34 on the front, and 12-23cassette on the rear.

John-san,
Thanks for posting the pic & breakdowns! VERY cool! Especially the graph w/the gradient's!
The monster climb at 18km's just about did me in too! :twitchy: But it was great conquering it!

It was great meeting up w/you & we'll have to get out again soon!
I'm think'n tomorrow, for the quick 25km lunch course. :D

Have a nice afternoon,
Domo~

I've got the Speed TT prepped and ready to roll. All we need is good weather and I'm in.
