New Paint

I was having some problems with the powder coat flaking off my rear triangle and I never really did like the black/silver colour scheme so I decided to go nuts and get a bit of a custom paint job done. I just got it back from the painter today, what do you reckon?

I'll post some proper, non-phone photos when I get the the rest of it nailed back together.

Just Beautiful! You will never have to worry about being confused with some other Brompton. I just love originality.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I certainly don't have to worry about getting it mixed up with other Bromptons! I thought about having the main body re-painted as well, but I would have had to remove the bottom bracket, seatpost clamp, headset cups and I didn't have the tools or inclination to do that.

Maybe when the paint wears off in a decade or so...

Well, it's been a rainy day so I've finished the bike. I took it out for an inaugural ride in between the showers and I took my camera.

Overall, I'm really pleased with the way it turned out, the quality of the paint finish is really good. I wanted something unique and it definitely is.
