Just a small selection of pictures from todays ride, featuring a new Lady Downtubediva! If you're offended by naked people, this might not be the thread for you.

Aha. Ha. Hahaha. Yes, I'm not in the best of shape - thanks for pointing that out.

As I get older, I tend to find clothing on people more pleasing to the eyes.

Mad or what?

I'm with the guy riding in the shorts. That's naked enough for bike riding and then some.

Beats wearing chinos? EH?
P.S. really miffed that I couldn't make it, as I was in Rockness Festival (Loch Ness) with the Alabama3.

There are only 2 types..... Sticky out & Sticky in! We all have the same so why are some people so prudish about nature's superb variety of these 2 standard bodily types?

We do have decency laws, but simple nudity is not, in itself, illegal in the UK. If the Police decide that it's behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace, then you could be arrested, but in reality, they would just get you to cover up. The UK rides are all done with prearrangement with the Police. I think it would be difficult for one or two individuals to ride naked through town and not get stopped, but I could be wrong. For a big organised ride, no problem. This also means that you can technically be naked at the beach as well, but if there are lots of complaints, then you're going to get asked to cover up, so it's better to stick to quieter beaches. Most Brits are pretty laid back about nudity, but there's still a feeling that "lots of other people probably are". Statistics suggest that over 70% of people are not bothered. Other parts of Europe are much more relaxed, Denmark for instance allows nudity at all beaches except for a very few which require bathing suits, so the few prudes have somewhere to go.

In the States, laws are much tougher, but the ride seems to go ahead anyhow.

Public nudity laws are different in each state in the US. The places that have WNBRs are generally in more liberal areas.
