Do You Dream Of Your Folding Bike?

Do anyone here ever dreams of his/her folding bike? Here is one dream I had of my own Brompton last night. I do admit is is a very strange one. I dreamed that I went on a mountain trip with the bike. Something major went wrong with the bike and I had to fix it at a bike shop located on the mountain. The bill was 800 (US) dollars. I had difficulty coming up with the money. I wonder what it means. So I consulted some Dream Interpretation Websites and came up with the following:

Assuming these images were actually dream symbols, here are some ideas.

Bicycle

To dream that you are riding a bicycle, signifies your desires to attain a balance in your life. You need to balance work and pleasure in order to succeed in your current undertakings. If you have difficulties riding the bicycle, then it suggests that you are experiencing anxieties about making it on your own.

To see abicycle in your dream, indicates that you need to devote time to leisurely pursuits and recreation.

Red (the actual color of my own Brompton)
This is an indication of great passion and sensitivity in your emotional relationships

Holidays
To dream that you are on holiday, represents a need for a break or time for rest. You are expressing a wish to escape from your responsibilities. Depending on the activities related to the holiday, the dream may also indicate family issues, personal attitudes or some difficulty.

Mountains

To see mountains in your dream, signify many major obstacles and challenges that you have to overcome. If you are on top of the mountain, then it indicates that you have achieved and realized your goals. You have recognized your full potential. Alternatively, mountains denote a higher realm of consciousness, knowledge, and spiritual truth.
To dream that you are climbing a mountain, signifies your determination and ambition.

Money
To see or win money in your dream, indicates that success and prosperity is within your reach. Money may represent confidence, self-worth, success, or values. You have much belief in yourself.Alternatively, dreaming about money, refers to your attitudes about love and matters of the heart.

Anyone care to join in and give their own interpretation of my dream?

You are suffering a severe bout of folderitis:

Take 2 gulps of tyre tube air
Ride around the block
If not better, repeat until so.

Yes, I was on vacation and thinking about the changes I was going to make to my Pocket Rocket. At one point I wish I had taken it along so I could work on it.

I had been dreaming about my new Dahon Jestream P8 waiting for it to come in. Well it arrived today and I got a very short test ride in this afternoon. I daydreamed the rest of the day about riding it after work, but then a huge storm came through with rain, hail, wind, and lightning. So I guess I get to dream some more about riding rather than the real deal.

I think the dream interpretation website is, on the whole, absolute tosh. I generally dream about things I've recently experienced, so the fact that you saw a red bike - which you own - has no bearing whatsoever on either bikes or the colour red. Dreams are mostly about your brain filing the experiences of the day, and going through tough problems time and again in search of a solution - the reason sleeping on a problem gets results. I think you may have subconsciously noticed a problem with your bike, and even if you hadn't, thanks to me you're now thinking that maybe something is wrong... so get it checked.

I also think this is more about you and your bike, and would not for one moment think about consulting a website about this. I am guessing that you are attached to your bike and your dream is more about how much you rely on it and "what would happend if /when the bike fals or need expensive repair.
I would not worry. Unless you are "in the middle of nowhere" when somethng happends think you are more than capable of repairing it yourself, and should only worry about finding the spares.

Myself I find the rear wheel (and IGH) to be the part that could give the serious head aches, so I keep a few as spares..

To answer OP's question: YES!

I have had at least one dream in which I was riding my folding bike, in which it broke. As I recall, in my dream the fork broke clean off, and the front wheel with it, and my only thought was "I knew that was going to happen!." This was over a year ago, and it has not yet come to pass. I'm not losing any sleep over it!
