Contortionist: cleverly designed full-size folding bike
saw this in GizMag
The Contortionist is 24-year-old Dominic Hargreaves’ entry in the UK sector’s James Dyson Awards, an international design award that “celebrates, encourages and inspires the next generation of design engineers.” The cool thing is that it rolls very handy behind you on both 26" big wheels when you have to go into the commuter train or into a building? . http://www.gizmag.com/pictures/tn/co...ng-bike-3.jpeg and looks almost like a normal bike? when unfolded? He seems to be a MTB enthusiast so the seat/saddle is very low? http://www.gizmag.com/pictures/tn/co...ding-bike.jpeg Would be cool to see how he has done it? Maybe a DIY project for those who are handy? Video of it on the Gizmag site and on youtube too http://www.gizmag.com/contortionist-folding-bike/12470/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9_XEgGQBkQ |
This has been discussed already. The guy is just scooting along on it. Pedals are only there for show.
