    Marathon Supremes

    Gudday

So we've recently received our new NWTs and they're great. I'm not too sure about the tyres (that's how we spell tires here in oz) though. It came with the standard Scwalbe Marathon Ks (I'm not sure what the K is about, I can't find a K model on the Schwalbe website). I've read a lot about the Supremes and they seem to be good. The main thing I'm after is a dynamic ride. The current rubber is noisy and doesn't seem to react too well, but I guess it's a completely different bike than the one I've mostly been riding around on previously.

Have any of you made this switch? Are Supremes really so good to ride on? These will be used for loaded touring.

The K is for Kevlar ( Kevlar bead ,,its a folding tire versus the Steel bead which doesnt fold....) most likely anyhow ....
The racers are good tires, i feel that they need a few miles on them to get to their potential.

The Supremes are super sweet and a little wider feel as fast or faster and are subtle as silk .... I love them ( Of course I pay wholesale for them, so it doesnt hurt financially as bad ...) The folks wo own them are all very very happy ... ( as far as I know )

A bud out in Fairfax County likes his Supremes a lot. I use my Friday from hauling the baby around. So no point in $60+ tires for me!

    Thor,

Are you writing about Marathon Racers or Supremes in the first paragraph?
