Origami folder from MEC

I don't think anybody posted about this one yet.

It's pretty much a Dahon made for MEC, isn't the price a little high? What you do think?

US $640 for a Dahon Vitesse D7HG, after importation and markup fees, that's about C $680~750.
With the MEC Dahon you get a double leg kickstand and plastic chain guard and one more gear, that's not present on the D7HG.

Dahon doesn't offer an 8sp IGH folding bike.
That is pretty much the ultimate commuter bike. Only thing you could possibly improve upon is by having a dynohub and light, but that would make it $1100 or so.

ah, I missed that one.

Dahon Mu XL $700ish.
Mu XL sport $800.

$800 doesn't seem like a bad price for what you get.

how much did you spend for your dynohub and light?
