Went for a beer with Mark Sanders

I took the 4 bikes, that Mark loaned me, back to him on Sunday, then met him for a few pints of ale , from a new micro-brewery in Windsor.
I arrived first to the usual gasps of appreciation as I folded my Strida 5, a few minutes later, Mark showed up on his Anniversary 'Mark Sanders Special' and folded his to park it in the bar next to mine.
"Will they mate?" Someone asked
"Watch out, we'll have lots of tiny Stridas running around soon!" Was Mark's reply LOL!

It was nice to ride back through Windsor with Mark.
Mark had a go on my comfy-saddled Strida 5, but he had his saddle too high for me on his 18" wheeled special, so sadly I couldn't try his.
In the Chinese takeaway, he left it to me to expell the virtues of the Strida to the very ethusiastic chinese girl who served me. And at no time during the evening was it mentioned that I was in the company of the designer.

Only one i-Phone pic of our Stridas in the Chinese. Grrrr! Wish I'd taken more pics DOH!

As one who spends most of his life with 'Celebrities' I have a strict no autographs policy (unless they ask for mine first!)

If I am in 'the big smoke' on the 30th, I'll set the Welsh Dragon fluttering around london's cycle paths :0)

Good-oh. But it's a bike ride, not a Welsh Nationalist protest. :0)

Look forwards to meeting you. Perhaps you'll autograph my bike. :-)
