    ICE folding recumbent

I saw this on another board. It's a production folding recumbent. Rather pricey, not a very compact fold. It does have rear suspension, and seems to be well made.

If you're interested in a folding recumbent, look at the Grasshopper FX. While it cost a little more than the Ice recumbent, I wouldn't trade mine for the world.

I've got a 2009 B1, and I think it's great. The 2010 model has an improved fold - faster and more compact. Think of it more as a Bike Friday kind of fold - works for travel, but not really intended for daily multimodal commuting...

I wrote a review of mine here: http://www.recumbentjournal.com/revi...b1-review.html

I test rode the HPV Grasshopper, and it's a great bike too. Personally I find hard shell seats too sweaty, but that's just my preference. HPVelotechnik is German engineering at its best.
