Australia is home to some of the largest spiders and most poisonous animals on the planet due to their relative isolation during the period of continental drift. I would not mind spotting them a few Moultons.....LOL

...and blue ringed octopus, paralysis tick, puffer toadfish, toothless Collingwood supporters, King brown snake, Death adder, Mc Donald's hamburgers, Kentucky Fried Chicken, saltwater crocs, centipedes.... and these are just in my backyard

I think the first Aussie Rules match I ever saw was a VFL Grand Final between Collingwood and Geelong, televised on ESPN sometime in the 80s. Not having been there, I don't have a feel for which teams' fans are Neanderthals, which bandwagon jumpers, and so on - but you've just straightened me out on Collingwood! :thumb:
Back on topic: Us Aussies may have missed the Sesame Crunch ride, but I'm hoping to finally meet up with Jur in the not too distant future and go for a ride in my countryside. It's not a mountainous as some of Jur's rides, but there is some nice scenic routes. |

In order to try out the Swift, do you have SPD shoes?
Next two Sats booked out = 1x family commitments and 1x Club road race Championships Should be free after that.... I hope. Let me know what sort of ride and distance you want to do so I can plan the appropriate route. BTW, there is an Audax ride at Gisbourne on Sat 13th November, choice of 130+ or 80+ kms including climbing Mt Macedon, beautiful area to ride. I'm hoping to do the 130+ km, if you're free come along. |
Beautiful bike. Congrats.

And last bot not least the highly venomous road-racer Stevegor who makes a Black Mamba snake look timid when on a ride :D

Who's running it? I don't see it on the Audax Australia calender. [edit] Don't worry, found it. |

Connie is interested in the shorter course. :thumb:
