Bicycle Repair Man !!!
I did not get a chance to zoobomb on this trip as I was tending to my spouse to be who just had surgery... it would not have been any fun without her.
Took that very same bike zoo-bombing last fall and don't think it has ever gone as fast as it did then... and will zoo bomb the next time I am in PDX and might be able to borrow my daughter's bike for that... heh heh heh.

It must be spring... the P20 got new V brakes, new levers, and after 4 years the tape was due to be refreshed too. so not only are things a little more comfy up top I can do mad skids which is something most 20 owners cannot say about their bikes.
I made the coolest little mod to the pocket tourer (that didn't even require a torch) that increased it's capacity by at least 33% and suppose I should post a picture...

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Forrest has been with me for 5 years now and has seen a lot of miles... has been the most faithful little companion and today we got out for his first ride of the season as those Primo Comets are not made for riding on ice and it was a balmy 50 degrees today. It was warm and rather wet and i was most pleased with how the new V brakes worked when they were drenched as I could still lock up the wheels.
After 5 years it was time to put on some fresh bar tape and I installed new Tektro levers which are even more comfortable than the old ones since they are wider and padded up top and the action is very light.
The levers connect to some new old Deore V brakes with Kool Stop pads.
He got pretty dirty and wet today and that seems to be his lot in life... rain follows him everywhere.
As for that 33% increase in capacity... I added 2 bottle braze on's last fall but every good touring bike should have at least three of them and I plan on adding another cage behind the seatpost which make number 4 and will use that for my fuel bottle.
Here is number three.
The little flex in the cage and fact the bottle has to go in at a slight angle to pass through the rear rack means that when it is in the cage it cannot be removed unless you pull it out and tip it down a little. It is essentially ejection proof.
Rode home with my thermos between the rack and fender and it did not budge or make a single noise.

Went on a 75km shakedown ride today to see what kind of shape our butts and legs were in and don't feel like winter has done me any harm and Forrest really liked to get out there and run with the big dogs.
The big dog was behind me for almost the entire day and at times could not keep up... it is hard to draft a folder.
On another note was able to help my friend dial in his fit a little better... that Surly will be spending a year riding around the world and the set up needs to be 110%..

Just got my new Brompton S6L, soon to become S12-E. So far all I changed was the headset, but UPS/FedEx/USPS are getting busy for the next few days.

Idealistic Troublemaker
This is my "Yora Mountain Echo" which is the best translation I can muster for "やまよら" -- which is in Japanese, but it's a CHINESE bike, only sold in China (I bought this one in Beijing). The manufacturer seems to be in Tianjin. I paid 370RMB iirc. It fits neatly in the back of my Mini Cooper.

Now that my Dahon Hammerhead is about to sell on ebay, I finally found a good deal on a Dahon Mu XL Sport with a redline Nexus 8 IGH.
Now the fun begins. Do I keep it as is or do I swap wheels with my Dahon Jetstream?
