Forrest got a new back wheel and a matching front with a dyno is in the works... also swapped the 40/48/53 triple for a 40/53 double.

Took this in the evening as the sun was setting and it shows off the dual stage powder as Forrest now has chameleon like abilities...

This was taken on a cloudy afternoon.

Full sun... (pre-assembly).

Bought a half link chain for it, and after switching out the 18T cog for a 16T, it fits perfectly. I need to get a pic posted of it.
Thanks

Well, folks, I've been reading and reading and have decided to jump in with my clothes on! I just ordered two 2014 Schwinn Loops from Sears, at 213 bucks each! They have a 60 day no questions asked return policy, so my wife and I are going to find out what this is all about! I've read some good reviews on these bikes. Can't be all bad. (Or not!) Best to all

My 2014 Dahon Vigor P9 was delivered yesterday. The color scheme looks awesome and bike rides great. As a bonus I was told I was the first US customer to buy the new Vigor so that's pretty cool. Here are a few pics...

It has 53T in the crank & 11-32T with 9 gears so very nice range. Rides very well from my experience so far.

Ruth got some new wheels! Picked up a set of Araya 7x from the co-op and couldn't be happier with the results.

My daughter named him "Optimus Prime"...

Folded size is 20 by 29... weight is 31 and change with the rather heavy rear rack which is not bad for a 25 year old folder.

I picked the bike up this morning and as soon as I got home I swapped out the derailleur and shifter and swapped the steel folding crank for a road crank I had in the spare bin... also had the Tioga Astabula to square taper conversion kit.

I am most impressed with the ride quality and performance...

This is Arch he's a 28" folder ) so far we had 240km travel,. I'm a bit afraid of using him on rough roads we had an accident together lols,. I'' thinking of changing his shifters, i find it hard using his downtube shifters but I can't figure out where to put handble bar shifters the space won't be enough and I'm not a fan of sti shifters on bullhorns they look funny,.. Are bar ends great? Are they comfortable to use?

Forrest and I spent a few hours in the shop today doing some upgrades...

9 speed rear wheel and an XT derailleur to do the heavy lifting...

9 speed Shimano bar end shifters and some new Fizik bar tape...

I think we are ready to lay down some serious road miles...
