ANOTHER Mini Velo (It Doesn't Fold)

We spotted a Sky Blue, boogie urban bike in the window of Clever Cycles here in Portland, OR) as we were driving by. SCREEEECH! We pulled over and went in to check them out - they had both the IH and Derailleur versions on display. Both were in the window, so couldn't play with them that much. Noticed on the detours website that their is also a SS version.

Frame apparently comes in two sizes - Medium & Large.

Another interesting entry into the 20" wheel market place.

Boogie Bikes? :p

Now there's a name for a mini velo!

I like the step through design. It makes it easy to get on and off.

And while it does NOT fold, its compact enough to fit anywhere.

That's one heckuva travel bike!

Now GO BOOGIE! :D

It's winning the ugliness race. I guess the frame is stiff with those crossbar sections. . . somehow I think the paint job should have seized upon the ugliness factor and made a feature of it; ugly and proud. I kinda like it.

Gotta agree with Chagzuki. The bike looks like a tuba gone horribly wrong :) But hey, it's cool to have more 20's out there. Thanks for sharing, F2!

Love the fact that they're being carried. However, the double bars screams: heavy!

I didn't get a chance to lift it to judge the weight, but it is Aluminum, not Steel.

It's built sort of like a cargo bike. It's definitely not built for speed.
