Sun CR-18 rims and tire width question

I am considering replacing the stock steel 406 (20in) rims on my Raleigh Twenty with Sun CR-18 rims. I already have a pair of Schwalbe Marathons in size 40-406 (20 x 1.50in) and am wondering if they are too wide for the CR-18s. Thanks!

18mm inner width, 22.5mm outer width.

CR-18 is good for up to 50mm wide or 1.9in.
Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

That is what I run with no problems. I seem to recall I may have one set with 1.75's on it too, I seem to recall some minor clearance issues on the one bike. I also run CR-18's in a 700c and that bike has 45's on it.

Thanks. I wanted to make sure the tire/rim combination would work before I purchase the rims. I have CR-18s on a Raleigh Sports and am happy with them.
