I am relieved to see that the basic models of Brompton are still offered and available soon after ordering. My own CE3 (no longer produced or offered) Brompton started out it's life as a "basic" off-the-shelf model as the B-Spoke option was not offered at my own bike's time of purchase. That did not hinder me in the least to modify and upgrade it (I just finished a new bag for it yesterday-another one on the way) as much as I have over the now 5 years I had it. I hope you will have as much or more enjoyment out of yours as I have.

What type(s) of bags have you ordered and what saddle you selected?

For the saddle, it will be a Brooks narrow and then a one-off bag commissioned by Martina and Goods at Swift Industries (https://swiftindustries.wordpress.com/)

i admire brompton's fold and have been fascinated by how it's done. what if they put a 14" or even a 12" tires on them ? fold could be even smaller. i almost had my hand on a used 3 speed brompton but missed a good deal.
