Sturmey SRF-3 installation question

Sturmey Archer and IGH noob here. I am installing the SRF-3. The directions show two different installation setups, one with a guide pulley set (HSA488) and one with a RH Axle Nut (HMN129). The kit provides both pieces. Nothing in the directions (3810.0405.007), which cover a number of different 3-speed hubs, says which one to use with the SRF-3. Is only one of these setups right or do I have a choice? If I have a choice, which is your preference? Thanks.

TCS's helpful response reminds me I should say I'm installing the hub on a Raleigh Twenty.

Your choice. I went with the axle nut, a set-up that's worked well for the last 107 years. Optimum choice for your application might depend on how the bike folds (shift chain sticking out/covered up) & do you have a cable stop on the chainstay/seatstay?

Thanks, TCS, I went with the axle nut and got it installed and adjusted with no real problem.
