Ride Quality of Dahon Midtown Series vs Dahon regular 20" folders

Anyone own both types? Is there a real noticeable difference in ride quality between these 20 inchers?
Does having two horizontal tubes makes a difference?

I have an MU P8 upgraded to a 16, and a Hammerhead PAC bike. The Hammerhead is lighter and faster. The ride is very stiff. like a racing bike. the Mu P8 wirh Marathon racers is more of a touring softer ride., good for city, and rail trails. I like them both. the Hammerhead is well suited for supported or credit card touring. th Mu has done well with a trailer,or for multi modal touring, because of the easy fold. The Midtown came out after my bikes. I don't know if it can be put in a suitcase. If it could, with the right tires, it could be the best of both.

Very encouraging!
I was looking at the Cadenza but it looks like it was discontinued. The Midtown series looks like better substitute.
Thanks for the info.

in very short
the regular 20 inchers fold easier and are better for day in and out commuting ....
the mid town bikes ride faster even, but fold slower .. they feel stiffer and even more than a regular bike ( whatever that might be )
