beautiful! Small wheel bikes with drop bars always look great.

SS Couplers will be a nice addition.

I am in love with this mini velo, but it seems difficult to get. I'm in New York City - does anyone know how I can get my hands on one of these without paying a fortune to ship it from Japan?

Thanks!

You could try ordering from one of the Japanese bike shops on Rakuten, which is a Japanese shopping site. Supposedly, the Bruno could be shipped for about $189 USD.

I have spoken about this with a couple Rakuten employees who are my students (Rakuten`s new company policy is that all employees must learn English). Here`s the apparent deal - not every seller on the site will ship overseas, but Rakuten is trying to increase that number by working to smooth out the process by providing English support, acting as intermediary, and by working to secure lower shipping costs.

If you love the bike you might want to give it a shot.

Probably only at a Bruno dealer here. Apparently, they are Kenda Kwests in an "original" color and are specially made for Bruno bikes.

If I lived over there I would have such a hard time deciding what bike/bikes to buy. There are some many awesome ones. Hopefully the Bikes Direct Nanos sell well and they bring on some more mini velo configurations.

A Bruno Ventura in Bangkok

On sale at Sealee. Very nice. My favorite Bruno by far. Head tube mounted shifters, threaded headset, quill stem, cantilever brakes. $700 it's yours.

I kinda like the more traditional triangular look. Is there any structural advantage for having the trapezoidal kinda frame config? Stiffer?

I think the diamond frame is stronger; the only advantage I see is lower step over height.
