Can you adjust the kickstand on a Speed D7?

I just purchased a new Dahon Speed D7 last night from REI. Overall I am very pleased with the bike, but am perplexed by the kickstand...

When the kickstand is fully open (open to where it stops) it is at about 120 degrees from its closed position. In this position when the bike is rested on it, the bike leans over further than I am comfortable with (about 30 degrees from vertical).

If I stop the stand at about 90 degrees from its closed position, the bike seems to have a better resting position... more stable.

The problem is that the stand is not stable at this position (a wind causes it to move fully open).

Is there a way to adjust the kickstand so it stops at a better location?
