The 3-speed Strida is coming

Thanks for the page, but the Strida collection stops at one. The Mrs likes it for commuting. Moulton TSR-2 and Brompton M1R occupy me full time.

This is good news. It's about time they added gears to the Strida. I remember someone did something similar using a 5 speed hub. I expect this bike to cost over 1k

I really wish they would make this retrofittable but looking at the size of that bottom bracket it looks like i'd have to buy a new bottom tube also! but I would buy a new tube instead of the hassle of selling an existing anyday.

Someone on the Hong Kong Strida forum claimed that it was a kick-back shift BB. Unlike the S2C kick-back shift hub, this has 3 gears and to shift you have to back pedal 60 degrees. The report hasn't been confirmed though.
