reallt like your uno :) help

I really like your mu uno.. While I was searching for some changes in my uno I found you.

I want to add brakes to my uno .. What should I do? What do you offer to me ? If I add brakes to my uno, do you think my performance of riding?

I am not professional as you

Also on your uno there is a a bottle holder, what's its name?

Thank you )

Hi Bruce! I know that this is a very old post, but I'm looking a handlepost like this for the same bike (Mu Uno), do you have any available? this is the one that folds to the inside? it's fully compatible with the MuUno frame? thanks!!!

That one piece post is for a Jetstream, and folds to the outside.. I might have a short two piece post that folds to the inside .. would have to look.. there is an aftermarket supplier making posts that fit Dahon, many different lengths/models.. off the top of my head, I don't recall who that is .. a search would probably turn it up..

Damn! I would have ordered an inward folding & slightly longer stem if I had spotted this. Crap,...

Thor, thanks for the reply... I've never visited your store, and now I think I'm going to find another job to buy all the things I want for my bike... I would like to ask you a couple of questions about the SWING SUNTOUR SUSPENSION FORK... it's funny cause a couple of weeks ago I began to wonder about a suspension fork for my MuUno... so, here we go:
1. it will work with the Dahon Mu Uno?
2. This fork is wider right? so that means that it's necessary to replace the handlebar post to the one that folds to the outside? (I'm planning to change the current one for the Jetstream anyway).
3. It will work with a 20” x 1.75? I'm thinking about this one since I already changed the rear wheel for the one that matches...
4. What would be the recommended brake for the Black (V-Brake) model?

Thanks a lot!!

hahah
that's the idea .. :-)
yes it will work, you will need to cut some stuffoff the steerer tube as it will be too long .. alternatively u can use washers but that's not the best solution for sure ..
fork will work with the original handlepost
max tire width is 20 1.9
regular v brakes will work fine
and yes you will need a wheel with 100 mm old
....
I built a couple bikes with them and really like them ... they are not a super travel downhill fork , but rather nice on the road

Thor, a couple of additional questions...
With that fork it is possible to keep the magnetic lock that comes by default with the bike?
you could send it cut to fit the MuUno?
thanks!
