Very fishy sounding NY Brompton on Ebay

Hmm! He doesn't know the model, he thinks it's got a nice welded frame (when it's brazed), & he's never been shown how to fold it. Dodgy!!!

NY Brompton

Bloody hell, you were quick to reply, too quick for me, realised I'd left the link out, remedied that immediately, but you beat me to it! LOL! He appears to be trying to sell it outside USA, also very dodgy sounding.

If it was bought or given to them, surely they would have had it explained the model, raw laquer and basic folding instructions.
As for feedback, most come from stuff he's bought, only 4 sales previously, one another special bike :- VINTAGE ROYCE UNION ROAD BICYCLE

I stand by my statement, sounds very fishy

Chop!,

I didn't bother to check that far since this bike does not interest me, but you're right anyone considering buying this should do their homework.

My first red flag would be the amount of spelling mistakes. Just saying.

It's a shame that I didn't ever come across my stolen Rohloff Birdy, I always thought it would turn up on Fleabay or somewhere, but here we are years further on and still not a sniff. Would love to have caught that toe-rag! Grrr! Still check every bikestand every time I'm in Dublin.

BTW does anyone know if the UK police bicycle marking has any value? I've had my frame marked, but surely that's easier to sand off than a serial number?

After my Birdy went missing I resolved to fit a tracker to my GoBike, I approached many companies, only to find that a usable technology doesn't yet exist. One firm said the answer was their tracker which velcroed under the saddle!
