Thats a nice deal on tires. If they had 20 1-3/8 tires for that deal I would have already ordered. I wouldn't mind picking up some 24 inch tires for a bike I just put together, but I'll probably hold off for now.

Vik, I notice from pictures of your tandem posted in another thread (which looks great by the way) that your Scorchers look different to mine, they have a checkboard pattern around them, whereas mine are just black. Do you know if this is a new cosmetic addition, or are there different models...

That's just new cosmetics. My old Scorchers were black and the new ones have the fancy sidewall. I can't detect any difference in performance between the two versions and rubber seems identical.
