Finally got a folder

I responded to a CL ad that said Dahon Folder $75 and that was pretty much it. When I got there it is a Dahon Boardwalk 7 speed in near mint condition. I got him down to $60, straped it it the back of my UTE bike, and home I went. Can anyone tell me the year of this Dahon and if I paid too much?

I have been eyeing them for a while and I am a C&V bike flipper so I know a good deal on a bike when I see one. I will probably keep it for the summer and then sell it for $120 to a local college kid when school starts in Aug.

I am really in search of a good deal on a Brompton. One day... one day.

He sold the other one before I got there or I would have bought them both.

good deal ..has all the bits you want to have ..like new handlepost, adjustable even.... its most likely a 2008 built 2009 model..
The International model even. very close to the Speed D 7 ....
u should have no problem selling it for 120 dlr

I was surprised to see this model in the U.S. I don't believe Dahon has offered the Boardwalk D7 here for a long time, so perhaps it was purchased overseas.

Looks like the second one has already made its way back on to CL:
