Excellent info on the last link including the comments section where a poster describes using the Brompton for touring, thanks for sharing.

The choices made for touring are really educational, I never tought of the telescopic seatpost as an opportunity to make the bike more convenient, even if your are not tall. Really nice reading!

Yes a lot of informative stuff on the videos and links above. Had I read that article I linked to earlier, I would have probably opted for a telescopic seatpost. The original video also made me evaluate the blinker light that I attached beneath the 2 o-rings in the seatpost under the saddle. It turns out my jacket does partially obscure the light so the Bromton lady was right.
