Vintage Schwinn Stingray RunAbout folding bike FOR SALE! On Los Angeles Craigslist

This is worth a look:

By the way, I have noticed a great uptick in folding bike postings here especially during the last month or so. Could it be the great hike in gas prices you think?

It will sell quickly at that price as that is what Runabout's generally sell for. The price isn't because it is a folder but because it is a fairly rare Schwinn. Roger

I bought my 1968 Run-a-bout for 12 dollars. It was my first folding bike. It is my favorite folding bike (I have 6). The handlebars fold down and sideways and the seatpost is on a levered clamp. My bike has the 3 speed Stik Shift that the Consumer Protection Agency took away in late 1968 (It was the very first thing they did). Don't you dare poo poo this bike untill you've ridden one and picked up as many beautiful women as I have while riding one.
