Mini bag that will fit Nashbar front rack on top?

<I posted this to the commuting forum and didn't get any responses.>

Any suggestions for a mini bag that will fit the Nashbar front rack? This is it:

I'd like for it to fit perfectly on top. Also, that it wouldn't over lap the 'platform' that is the top of the rack. Also, with velcro loops to affix it to the rails. (I know, I'm anal).

This will be for carrying 1 or 2 cameras and lenses. Something cheap, if possible. Waterproof would be a bonus.

Don't want a bag that hangs to the right or left. Thanks in advance.

Nashbar sells a bag that was designed specifically for this rack. I can't find it on their site right now, but it's similar to this one:

My guess is that they're just currently out of stock.

Like I do on The Bicycle Hobo: http://www.artfire.com/users/TheBicycleHobo

Once I perfected the two techniques of adaptation as throughly demonstrated on my pattern (directly on the handlebars plus attachment to a fixed frame), I pretty much attached pre-sewn bags to any part of my bikes-including the fixed frame rear rack.

This is the Nashbar bag designed for their front rack.

It's out of stock but you can still order it for a whopping 12 bucks. I had one and still have the rack.

Order Here

I bought a matching nashabr bag and it was ok.

I ended up buying one of these. It's a bit bigger and works a lot better.

velogear is sold out of that style..

Digga, would you sell me your old Nashbar bag? :) I've been looking for one.

I don't think Nashbar has sold that bag for quite some time.

You can always use a small stuff sack and just tie it down.

A soft six pack cooler would seem to fit. I bought one with a removable hard liner so it stays put, cut some holes and zip tied it to the rack. A soft cooler like mine costs me $3.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. If it doesn't come with a hard liner you can probably make an interior "frame" for it out of coat hangers. Then all you'd need to do is maybe glue or stitch on a clear map pocket on the top.
