Ah, this must be why Brompton have had a message up on their site this last week about 'something big in the pipeline'.

they only selling it in the far east? not that I want one, just curious about the fact that they're commemorating a British event and all the text describing it and the tags are in what appears to be chinese or some other asian text.

Who else would buy it? Well, Americans I suppose. Hmm.
I'm British. . . oddly enough the Royal Farce isn't exactly my cup of tea, to use an English metaphor.

Henry VII must be turning over in his grave. They didn't even engrave it. It's just a cheap see through sticker.

I've always wanted to use this word...Bollocks!

I think it is Taiwan and costs about US$ 2300. I was in my local Brompton dealer in Tokyo and I didn't see one of these. Then again i wasn't looking. I used to live in the UK and was never a great fan of the royal family.

sooooo the only thing special about this is the sticker and the bag on a white brompton? you could probably print that sticker out but who'd want to it's too embarassing to be seen with that sticker .

Brompton Builds Limited Edition British Royal Wedding Bike

To commemorate the British Royal Wedding of Prince William of Wales and Ms Catherine Middleton, Brompton Bicycle Ltd of London has created a limited edition Brompton M3L with an exclusively hand-sewn Brompton S Bag and a Brooks B17 Special (Brown) saddle with copper rails.

Only 300 bikes have been hand-built in celebration of this British royal event.

The Brompton bike is finished in a unique pale cream colour, named Sake White, befitting the occasion, and a gold-coloured decal bearing the names of the young Royal Couple and the date of this happy occasion in the British Royal history.

The luggage consists of the Brompton S Bag with a unique, limited edition bag flap coined as the Crown Flap. This is made from Prince of Wales check, that is woven from the finest British wool. The crown embroidered onto the check represents the Coronet of Prince William of Wales and is made from Dashing Tweed with reflective Lumatwill™ strand woven into the fabric for reflective qualities that add a modern touch to a traditional cloth.

Brompton Royal Wedding Bike - M3L with S Bag

The Brompton's Limited Edition British Royal Wedding Bike is kitted with a S Bag and a specially handsewn Crown Flap by Ms Katie Barton, a visual artist and textile designer from London. It also comes with a Brooks B17 Special (Brown) saddle with copper rails.
