Yes, that's what got me looking for mini velos again. I haven't visited bike forums in a couple of years, and I've bought less bikes because of it. But I've always wanted a mini velo and a few years ago you really couldn't find any other than the Dahons. So within minutes of a quick visit I saw that post and realized there are some nice ones available now for not a lot of money.

I like the Big Shot because it's a single speed and it's set up the way I'd want already. Looks like a sweet little bike.

Great price also $318 plus around $40 shipping. I emailed them yesterday to see what colors are still available.

You'll have to let me know if you buy one. I've been trying to talk myself out of buying one since I've seen it!

I love my full size single speed, but that little bike just looks like it would be so much fun.

I know for many this is sacrilege, but I would want to slap an IGH on this. Would make a super fun commuter.

You can do that. Stock wheels are 451.

The parts are crap but the frame is double-butted chromoly. With good quality brakes and better bars, it becomes an agile bike. If you're not tall enough, a stem riser is probably needed to get the stem up to a comfortable height.

A very nice ride!

Better bars? Do you mean changing to drops?

Yes I just got it Friday night. It was packed unbelievably well. The best job I've ever seen. It went together easily, but they said they send them as ss, but it was fixed, so I had to flip the wheel, which was only an extra twenty minutes. The components are not great, but they'll do until I can upgrade. It comes with a front and rear brake, and the brakes are adjusted nicely. Almost didn't have to do anything to them. The frame welds are clean and the paint job is excellent. I already took the stickers off.

I put bar ends on until I decide on whether I want drops on it, so that'll do. And I have some really nice platform pedals instead of the crappy wellgos. I also put a different saddle on. Theirs was just too hard. So I'm going to go with this set up until I have money to upgrade anything.

It rides great. The frame feels like a full size but on really agile small wheels. It's a quiet smooth ride. I am extremely happy with it. For 350 bucks including shipping, I think it was well worth it. It's just what I was looking for. Big bike feel on small wheels. No creaky folding parts.

I'll have to post pics later.

Looking forward to the pics. I really enjoy the Nano and would like to get a Big shot and put my s2c on it to see how it goes.

In my case, I changed to Albatross bars. It fit more with my riding style.

The green one just glows.

Remove the crappy vinyl decals. The bike looks much nicer without them!
