Alfine 8 Speed Hubs 20 and 16 wheels
I was looking for some parts and noticed that Utah Trikes had built hubs with 20" and 16" rims. Maybe another option for Bromptons or Bike Fridays? https://www.utahtrikes.com/PRODINFO-S...Wheel_Kit.html

I doubt it's a drop in.. at least on Brompton.
Alfine axle width is much wider than the rear dropouts on Brompton s, for example.
So a frame spread To suit. has to be done and, not as easy as it is on big wheel steel frames
On my AW3 hub, I found just fitting any larger Cog than a 15t hit the ends
of the rear section's tubes ,
so the cog diameter has to be small .
Bike Friday OTOH, sells a whole bike with the Alfine hub as an option.

Tikit is different than the Travel bikes, Whole rear section, folds on the Tikit including the BB.
you can tension the chain directly and even make it as a Fixie, by pulling the dropout back.
Need to have bought the right rear section to get that feature.
The fold hinge is Behind the BB, like on the NWT/Pocket Llama,
so on those you always need the spring chain tensioner..
I got a Rohloff/pocket Llama this year , the German chain tensioner came on it.
