Where to find the serial number on a recent model Dahon Speed D7
I have a recently purchased (2011 model) D7 that I wish to find the serial number of. I looked at the underside of the bottom bracket and there was nothing there. A quick perusal didn't find anything.
Any suggestions?

Look at the Dahon Licensed Technology reflective sticker on the frame. It should be on the bottom of the sticker saying DL.........

that's the usual place you can find dahon's s/n. where did you buy your bike? check with thor as he's the dahon guru.

its there .... sometimes hard to see..... and sometimes, very seldom its on the bottom bracket shell on top and the right side ....yeah ...

I just looked at mine and I think the SN is on the sticker with the bar-code on the back of the down-tube. I do not see it stamped or etched anywhere.

Yep, I found it on the sticker on the back of the down tube, but I can't find it etched anywhere...
If I etch it myself, any suggestions on how to treat the steel frame to prevent rust?
