Mezzo suspension mod?

Is there any simple way to install something like the Brompton suspension elastomer in a Mezzo in place of the locking mechanism?

Simple, I doubt it. I have fleetingly looked it to modifying a "thudbuster" on to a Mezzo diameter seat post
But it will be possible if the frame mounted cam is chopped and replaced. Or an elaster if fitted between the cam and the frame.

Calling "JUR" come in "JUR"

I would like to try a pantour hub on the front of mine, Ebay searching.
