Recently came across a youtube video of this handsome looking folder. Do any of you guys own one, or tried one? This looks interesting, especially the integrated drive system shown on the electric version.

I would give it a very high rating. Excellent ride and a very good fold. It is a premium bike but should be a little cheaper IMHO than £1500/$2315. The frame is superb but the components such as the brakes & gears are mid-range. The saddle and tyres are even cheaper. That doesn't stop it being a very good bike but I'd expect better components at this price point if I had to buy one. I didn't have to buy mine.

Here are updated pics of my Pacific Reach IF with Schwalbe 451 rather than the stock Primo Comet tyres. I find the bike a very capable ride both on the road and off the road on the trails along the Grand Union canal into London. It's very firm on the roads but the suspension really smooths the rougher gravel or clay parts of the trails I ride.

Here is the IF folded. I took the saddle off to give a better impression. I can't put the saddle fully down due to the Carradice bracket on the seatpost. I usually use the saddle as a prop stand anyway when the bike is folded.

To conclude Pacific make some of the best frames I've seen and the fold is one of the best on the market. It makes the Reach an even better folding bike and the IF mechanism has huge potential on larger wheeled bikes. I test rode the IF Urban the other day fro Fudge's Cycles. Once again I'd expect a slightly better hub such as the Alfine 8 at £1200 but the bike looks lovely and has a very nice ride. Definitely better than large wheeled folders like the Dahon Cadenza 08 and similar models.

Like the chain tensioner on the last pic, just what I'm looking for for my P11 Jetstream.
